Richard Durrant: Music for Midsummer

9 June : 7:30 pm 9:30 pm

£5 – £15

Guitarist, composer and ukulele virtuoso Richard Durrant returns to Edinburgh with his trademark blend of original guitar music, British flavoured folk, JS Bach and plenty of tales from the road.

Richard will arrive having cycled all the way from St Magnus Cathedral, Orkney. He’ll continue onwards, arriving at Brighton Open Air Theatre for the summer solstice.

Music for Midsummer

Says Richard: “This is my way of reducing my carbon footprint whilst playing music in some wonderful places and drawing attention to the climate crisis.”

In September the Cycling Music pilgrimage continues onwards from Dieppe to Santiago de Compostela.
