7pm – 9pm, 22 September 2022
Critically-acclaimed guitarist and composer Richard Durrant will open his solo concert in France with Bach’s entire 3rd Cello Suite played on a humble ukulele.
There’ll also be music from his latest album “The Sleep of a King” plus a generous serving of guitar favourites played on a concert guitar made from a 5,000 year old English Oak and plenty of tales from the road…
“My new favourite guitarist… Richard Durrant sits completely outside the accepted genres. He has a peculiar and wonderful mind.”Tom Robinson, BBC6 Music

A Cabinet of Curiosities
Unlikely things mostly
Jon Everitt’s Autumn 2022 exhibition features the paintings and artwork for Richard’s latest album. It will be at the Art Sant Roch gallery in the glorious French town of Céret in the Pyrenees Orientales region of the south of France.
Jon’s paintings are a fascinating journey from the humorous to the thought-provoking, via the slightly sinister and the downright peculiar. You can see more of his work at www.joneveritt.net
The exhibition runs from Friday September 2nd to Friday 24th
